Triton Villas - Residence & Hotel

We stayed at the APULIA HOTEL from 5 to 19 August on a full board basis. Wanting to find words to judge the stay, the first that comes to mind is spectacular. The start wasn't the best as they had assigned us a room that was in terrible infrastructural conditions, the next day I went to raise the problem at the reception and here I had the opportunity to meet two exceptional people, with excellent professional skills. We are talking about the director Melissa Gigliotti and the receptionist Desirè, who within a few minutes, in the true sense of the word, immediately replaced our room, giving us a much better and much larger one, without having to pay any difference and apologizing for the inconvenience caused. These people, throughout our stay, demonstrated an uncommon willingness to meet or rather fulfill all our requests in a rapid, effective and punctual manner. The animation was truly top notch. The entertainment manager, the legendary Giovanni, who was a pleasant surprise as he was an old acquaintance of ours from a previous village, proved himself to be a professional in entertainment and always up to the task, supported by a staff, albeit young (the average was 19 years), really very professional. Boys capable of involving all the occupants of the village in the various activities that were carried out throughout the day. The food was truly excellent and of high quality, the dining room staff always welcomed us with a big smile and was always ready to meet all the requests presented to them. If you want to find a flaw, in order to make your stay perfect, the sea and swimming pool aspect should be reviewed. The first because, due to the sea storms, the beach was full of very annoying sticks and the second because it would require renovation, as it shows the signs of aging. Ultimately, the APULIA HOTEL may be classified as a three-star hotel but for the treatment we received and the attention paid to the guests' needs it can easily be classified as a 5-star superior.

As usual we hear many and all quite discordant. I returned today and I must say that I would go back in a hurry! Yes there are 300/350 m to go to the sea, beautiful and crystal clear. The beach could have been a little more cared for but it is still kept quite well. The comfortable and spacious rooms, 5 of us had a great time, the nice and well-kept swimming pool. Catering, it is clear that it depends on taste but it is varied and good, in fact I personally found some dishes such as lasagna, for example, truly excellent. It's true that at lunch, since the restaurant is outdoors you sweat but, guys, we're eating, not digging in a mine, in this heat it's normal for you to sweat eh! Finally, the very nice entertainment guys offered so many activities for both children and adults that I don't understand what anyone could complain about! Everyone is available, polite, polite; Personally, and I am someone who travels a lot for pleasure, so I have a lot of evaluation criteria, I really find it an excellent residence in which to spend days with the family and relax with your partner and your children! Ps. You're on holiday, relax, and don't complain about everything, enjoy your holidays and don't nitpick. Instead of complaining, you could have fun and relax a bit, which this structure lacks nothing to do!

We had a very good time in this village, we found a week from 30/07 to 06/08 with lots of nice people and truly engaging entertainment. Well done Giovanni, the very good head animator, Vincenzo, Francesco etc.. What didn't go very well was the room which had no water pressure but the director made herself available by giving us the keys to another room just to wash ourselves. So well done...Last note is the sea, to get there you have to go out of the village and walk about 350m nothing of that...

The structure overall is not bad, everything can be reached within a few minutes. The pool was beautiful but dirty, the water surface was half green. The rooms were not too bad but the details left something to be desired, a sad note was the bathroom without a window, I can imagine the acrid aroma that was breathed after every encounter of the third kind. The sea is very beautiful, too bad it was very rough during the week I stayed. For the restaurant I understand that there is not much change among the starters but at least the second courses, all homologated to a slice covered with a nut glaze, well I don't know, except for a few rare exceptions, mostly negative. The entertainment was average and much more organized towards children and Neapolitans (since they represent 70% of the public). The tournaments and games were poorly followed by the animator who organized them. The head animator is very good. All the things needed for the various sports are divided between entertainment things and structure things that can be requested at reception. The problem is that to play football or beach volleyball you had to chase the entertainment team since the reception doesn't provide balls. While for ping-pong the reception has obscene rackets and balls while the entertainment has the good ones. If you want to play in the evening you pay extra for the lights. It is a 3 star in name and in fact.

THE PROS: The catering!!! Bouffe always varied and good, choice between 2 first and 2 second courses, plus children's menu.... Tasty and tasty dishes. Clean rooms. Courteous and helpful staff (especially the waiters) THE CONS: In my opinion, the village is ugly and poorly cared for, with obsolete rooms and furnishings that are often broken or very damaged. Gardens and common areas often dirty. Inexperienced animation guys and Head Animator not particularly nice or even good in my opinion. I'm sorry, I don't usually give negative reviews.... but there were many details that didn't make the stay at this property pleasant.

Very low quality/price ratio: in residence formula, 4-star figures for the week of August with 2-star services. The location and the village itself would not be bad but the costs are too high and the services are not up to par (rooms with old furniture and several broken pieces of furniture, rusty kitchen area, chipped bathroom tub and water that came and went, poorly flushed toilet working). The sea is beautiful but the beach is full of wood and not clean (it is identical to the free beach); we were in the residence formula and we didn't use the restaurant but the menu was banal, like a canteen, a beach club that offers practically only pizzas with sometimes inconceivable waits. In summary, the usual problem: the structure could be nice but you have to invest in it to renovate it properly and no one wants to put money into it.

We had a wonderful holiday with my family. It is not that far from the sea, everyone is very friendly and welcoming, the cleaning ladies do an excellent room service, changing the towels every day, compliments to the chef for the excellent food he cooks and also to all the restaurant staff and compliments to the entertainers, very warm, welcoming, friendly, they made you feel like you were at home. They also made my son feel like an entertainer for a day, it's an entertainment full of activities for both adults and children where it's a lot of fun. I especially thank them for having had a huge watermelon feast on the beach where they ate watermelon in industrial quantities. Finally, the sea is very calm with a mild temperature and an available and friendly rescue service. Excellent quality with a very low price. I can't wait to return and long live Apulia Hotel!
